My Singer-Songwriter Idols: Part 3

The final singer-songwriter I admire is Sara Bareillis. She is an amazing artist, both recorded and live and has been at the top of my music radar for the past year and a half. In 2010 "Kaleidoscope Heart" released on my birthday, this year my husband gave me tickets to see her live, and I received her "Between the Lines: Live at Filmore" on Blu-Ray for Christmas. She is an amazing singer and writes some great tunes. She is another one I can't listen to enough!


Her live performance we saw this past fall was an evening I will not soon forget. The show was at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, and we had the most amazing vantage point. We stood dead center in the front row., and we could reach out and touch the stage. It was almost as if we were experiencing a private concert in  our living room!

Some of my favorite songs of her's include "Many The Miles", "Gravity", and "Red". I chose to post "Many the Miles" for you because I always feel it is a fitting song for when I am embarking on a new journey.
